Competitive skiers

What disciplines can I practice?

At Jolly Ski, we pride ourselves on being a fully equipped school for overall skiing, so you can train in slalom, tricks, and jumps.

How are the conditions for jumping?

We take the jumping discipline very seriously. We have a Beamman ramp that is constantly waxed and the SplashEye jump measurement system for automatic jump tracking.

Who attends the school?

Aside from our local athletes like Nicholas Benatti, Edoardo La Malfa, Matteo Luzzeri, and Florian Parth, we have athletes from all over Europe and beyond who trust our staff to improve their performance. We frequently host representatives from various European National Teams who choose to spend extended training periods with us.

What infrastructures are available?

At Jolly Ski, we have two 2025 Malibu Boats Response TXi boats with 6.2L engines, perfect for all water skiing disciplines. Both boats are equipped with ZeroOff satellite speed control and the Sure Path satellite system for tracking the driver during slalom and jump events.

Where can I stay during training?

For short and medium stays, we recommend the Hotel Al Veliero in Pontevico. If you’re planning a longer stay, contact us and we’ll help you find a suitable solution.

Do you organize competitions at Jolly Ski?

Yes! We organize several events each year, including the International San Gervasio in mid-June (19 editions), the San Gervasio Pro Am in early July (10 editions), and the Jolly Overall Cup in September. Click here to see upcoming competitions.

First timers

Do I need experience to try water skiing?

No prior experience in water sports is required. However, if you snow ski, you may have an advantage with your posture in the early stages. Just like in many other sports, you can start having fun with water skiing from your very first lesson!

What do I need to bring for the lessons?

All you need is a swimsuit, a towel, and flip-flops, just like you’re preparing for an afternoon at the beach. We’ll provide you with the skis, life jacket, and rope.

Is there an ideal age to water ski?

There is no age limit! For younger children, the ideal time to start water skiing is around 6 years old. Whether for fun or competitive purposes, you can practice water skiing at any stage of your life.

How long does a water ski set last?

Don’t expect a whole afternoon on skis like you would at a snowski resort. Water skiing is an intense sport, and about 15 minutes is enough for a session. It might seem short, but you’ll have a blast (and your muscles will thank you)!

How much does it cost?

For more information on prices, feel free to email us!

Is equipment rental included?

Absolutely! The cost of the lesson includes both coaching and equipment rental. The annual membership fee is separate from the water ski set.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. To book your water ski set, just email us!
